My Story:

I’m from a small town in New York where my dream as a kid wasn’t just to be a pop singer—it was to be a trained singer. I started voice lessons with an older, retired teacher whose studio was almost impossible to get into. I was lucky to land a spot, and from the very first lesson, I was hooked. She was passionate, knowledgeable, and didn’t waste time—and because of her, I went from dreaming about it to winning every vocal scholarship in my county in just a few years.

That experience changed my life. I ended up studying music education in college, and while I’ve worked as a school music teacher, I always felt pulled toward private voice teaching—the same one-on-one setting that changed everything for me.

Eventually, my life brought me down to North Carolina. While I liked teaching, I realized I didn’t love being in the school system. I didn’t want to wait until I retired to start my next dream. I wanted to build this life now, while I’m young, passionate, and performing myself.

That’s how my voice studio began. My goal is to give students the kind of focused, personalized experience I had—the kind that helps you grow not just as a singer, but as a confident artist.
